About Us
The Shannon Stovall Memorial Youth Mission Fund was established at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Spring, Texas, to remember and celebrate Shannon's loving and giving nature and her appreciation of helping others through youth mission projects. This fund is part of a 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all donations may be treated as tax deductible contributions depending on your specific tax situation.
About the Mission Fund
To enable our youth to participate in various mission projects helping those that are unable to help themselves in tasks such as home repairs as well as participating in special needs at local hospitals, shelters, food banks, etc. We believe that while recipients benefit from this hard work, our youth are developing compassion, integrity, leadership and spiritual growth.
A Message from Shannon's Family - Liz, Charlie and Colin Stovall
Within minutes of that tragic accident, you were there supporting, loving and praying for our family. This has been and will continue to be our most difficult journey. Recently I read the following and it really spoke to me: "When I question God or have misplaced my faith, He is there in a loved one or friend." It is with your help that we are able to get up each day and try to move forward. Our appreciation of you all is beyond words.
This Memorial Fund is an effort to keep Shannon's caring and giving spirit alive. Our goal is to use some of the funds for current youth mission projects, and to also grow the fund so that when we are gone, the interest from the fund will enable youth to continue special mission projects in Shannon's name.
Whether as a sponsor, a donor or a participant, we thank you all and also the many businesses throughout our community that continue to make this project possible.
